The foundation of Gramin Vikash Seva Samiti (GVSS) was laid by Lieutenant Shri Kanaiya Lal Lakhera, a proud veteran of the Indian Army, who served the nation with unwavering dedication, discipline, and courage. During his distinguished military career, he participated in three wars, demonstrating exceptional commitment to safeguarding the country.

After retiring from the Army, he chose to dedicate his life to serving society. His inspiring leadership and lifelong commitment to nation-building continue to guide GVSS in its mission of creating self-reliant, healthy, and empowered rural communities.
